Ingredients
- 2 oz. Belle Isle Black Label
- ¾ oz. maple cinnamon syrup**
- 1 oz. fresh lemon
- 1 oz. red wine float
Preparation
Add first three ingredients to a mixing tin with ice. Shake and double strain into a rocks glass over a big ice cube. Slowly layer 1 oz. red wine over a spoon onto the cocktail.
**Maple cinnamon syrup recipe:
Heat ½ cup of maple syrup over medium-high heat. Add one tablespoon brown sugar, two tablespoons water, and one teaspoon cinnamon. Simmer for five minutes, then let cool.
