As a Community Engagement Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role on our passionate team, delivering unforgettable experiences to our customers in our tasting room and representing Belle Isle at events beyond the distillery.

 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • TASTING ROOM OPERATIONS

    • Operate our distillery store and tasting room by serving customers tastings, sharing product knowledge, and assisting them with POS checkout
    • Assist in packing and fulfilling online store orders (DTC and On Premise)
    • Maintain overall cleanliness and inventory levels of tasting room area
  • EVENT EXECUTION

    • Set up, manage, and break down branded events, ensuring all materials, displays, and product samples are presented to the highest standard.Work with retail operations manager to ensure execution of events 
    • Collect and report event data, including attendee feedback, sales impact, and overall event performance, to support post-event analysis
    • Collaborate with event venues and staff to ensure smooth execution and alignment with brand expectations
    • Quickly address and resolve on-site issues, from technical difficulties to consumer concerns, while maintaining professionalism.
  • CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT

    • Deliver an engaging and knowledgeable brand experience by educating distillery and event attendees about the company’s products, history, and tasting notes
    • Promote product sales through tastings, special offers, and upselling while reinforcing the brand’s identity and mission
    • Assist in training event staff or volunteers to ensure consistent brand messaging and quality of service
    • Document events through photos and videos for social media or internal use, aligning with brand guidelines

  • $20/hour, plus tips during tasting room and event hours
